The ITACA project recently celebrated its first Stakeholder Workshop, an online meeting that brought together more than 20 professionals from the ATM sector to discuss some aspects of the project.
The workshop, that was held online on November 23, 2020, gave the participants the opportunity to give feedback on the levers and barriers that affect technology adoption in ATM, and to share their views on possible policy measures aiming at levering the innovation diffusion.
During the event, the consortium members also presented and discussed with all interested parties what has been achieved so far and how the ITACA’s roadmap looks like.
Miguel Baena, Deputy Project Coordinator: "In projects like ITACA, in which we study the complex relationships between policies, regulations and air traffic agents, it is crucial to have feedback from the parties involved. This workshop has been very enriching and the contributions of the participants have helped us to better focus some of the work that we are developing at the moment".
